I have the honour to request your approval of the grant of an area of 9,750 square feet of land in Kowloon to the Chinese Church Body of the Chinese Anglican Church for the purpose of erecting a non-profit making Primary School on the following terms:-

(1) Private Treaty Grant.

(2) Lease for 75 years.

(3)

Nominal premium.

(4) Crown Rent at $1,600 per acre per annum i.e. $358 per annum for the area concerned.

Restriction to use as a non-profit making Primary School.

Building Covenant of $268,000 in 2 years.

Restriction against alienation except with the consent of Government.

Reversion to the Crown without compensation for any breach of the Conditions of Grant.

The Bishop of Hong Kong is Chairman of the applicant body which has a Church on the adjacent lot. am satisfied that a Primary School in this area would meet a present educational need and that your approval may properly be given for the proposed grant.
